Application
Work
it.
Four moves, ten seconds. The difference between product in your hair and a shape on your head.
Fig. 02.1: “Technique”
Scoop a fingertip
Less than you think. A pea, not a scoop. You can always go back for more. You won’t.
Rub palms until it disappears
Flat palms, quick friction, until there’s nothing left to see. Warm product spreads. Cold product clumps.
Work back-to-front through dry hair
Crown first, hairline last. The front gets what’s left on your hands. That’s the correct amount.
Shape it. Reshape it. All day.
The hold stays live. Push it up at eight, break it apart at noon, sharpen the part at six. No water needed.

“Matte”
Zero light. All texture. Reads like great hair, not product.

-
Beeswax
The spine. Structure that moves when you do and re-sets when you say so.
“Grip” -
Kaolin clay
The finish. Drinks shine on contact and leaves grit you can work with.
“Matte” -
Candelilla wax
The rework. Plant wax that keeps the hold live instead of lacquered.
“Flex” -
Shea butter
The counterweight. Conditions while you sculpt: no straw, no crunch.
“Care” -
Vitamin E
The insurance. Antioxidant support so styling today doesn’t tax tomorrow.

Questions
Asked. Answered.
No. It’s water-based and clay-forward. It goes on clean, dries down matte and stays where you put it. No slick, no sheen, no migrating to your forehead by lunch.
Yes. Hold sits at 9 of 10, and it’s cumulative: a second fingertip adds grip without adding shine. Work it through dry hair for maximum strength. For type 4 coils, hydrate with Curl Leave-In first, then sculpt, twist and edge with Paste; for past-the-shoulder lengths, Curl Leave-In is the better starting point.
That’s the design brief. The wax blend never fully sets, so warm palms bring it back to life: push it up, break it apart, re-draw the part. No water, no restyle, no new product.
One rinse, warm water, gone. No waxy film, no buildup, no clarifying shampoo required. Your pillow and your barber will both confirm.
